About New View Home Renovations

Built on Family, Backed by Experience

Family-Owned Home Renovation Company Serving Cache Bay & Northern Ontario

Our Story

A Local Legacy Built by Family

New View Home Renovations was founded in Cache Bay, Ontario in 2018 by brothers Alex and Matt—two local tradesmen with a vision to bring honest, high-quality craftsmanship back to home renovations in Northern Ontario. Alex, a licensed carpenter, had just completed his apprenticeship when he approached Matt, then an apprentice through the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union, with the idea to build something of their own.

Not long after, Bob, their father —bringing over 30 years of experience in the trades—joined the business. Today, the family-run crew proudly serves Sturgeon Falls, North Bay, Verner, Field, Lavigne, Warren, and the surrounding areas with reliable, hands-on renovation work.

What Sets Us Apart

Hands-On Renovations With a Personal Touch

Unlike larger contractors or franchised crews, the owners of New View Home Renovations are on-site and actively involved in every job. You’re not just hiring a renovation company—you’re working directly with the people who own it.

We bring a high level of care to every project, from deck builds and siding replacements to custom built windows & doors.

Our Services

What We Offer

Built with Care. Backed by Code.

Every New View project starts with a strong foundation — literally and figuratively. For this deck build, we created a full set of detailed construction drawings to guide the process from start to finish. Plans included:

Full layout and structural diagrams

Stair and railing framing

Local zoning dimensions and property layout

Joist and beam specs

Pre-manufactured railing compliance

OBC-conforming stair and deck notes

These plans not only ensured code compliance, but helped streamline approvals, keep materials efficient, and support clean, professional execution on site.
