The original concrete pad and lattice skirting were removed and replaced with a custom-built elevated deck, adding both functional outdoor living space and strong curb appeal.
Before construction, the entrance featured a small, weathered platform with vinyl lattice skirting that had started to deteriorate. The space lacked comfort, curb appeal, and safe access. The homeowners had no real area to sit or gather, and the uneven ground and outdated materials made the entryway feel disconnected from the rest of the home.
We proposed replacing the existing platform with a raised, full-width deck to improve both usability and aesthetics.
Our plan included pressure-treated framing for durability, wood skirting for a cohesive look, and aluminum balusters for safety and style.
Wider stairs and additional surface space were recommended to create a more welcoming and functional outdoor entry.
Courtesy and service all across the board. The Piquette brothers and Father Bob took their time and made sure that every detail was taken care of. even down to reinstalling the blinds and cleaning the Windows. We highly recommend them for promptness in responding to our call-out for installers, and the Window arrived three weeks earlier than planned. So five plus stars all the way!
They took a tired home and brought it back to life. New vinyl, new exterior doors, and two new decks and interior flooring. Bob, Alex, and Matt are professional in all aspects of their work. They start as agreed, on the job until completely finished, and clean up all areas of the work site before leaving. We are very pleased with all the work that was done. The inspector was also very impressed with the quality of workmanship!
